ADVENT - THE SEASON OF HOPE
Fr. Dennis is inviting families to light the Advent candle at our Sunday Masses beginning December 1st . If your family would like to participate, please contact Maria Orozco in the parish office at 847-623-8320, ext. 227, or firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
All students are required to attend the 2019 Fall Conferences with their parent(s). Please see the instructions below to sign up for a conference time with your child(ren)'s teacher. If you have a student(s) in grades 5-8 please sign up for a conference with the homeroom teacher only.
Pickatime Scheduler for Fall Conferences will opened on Monday, November 4th at 10:00 am. The Pickatime Scheduler will close on Friday, November 22nd at 8:00 am. You will NOT be able to schedule a conference after that time. If you do not schedule an appointment, one will be set up for you and you will be notified of the time. If you have a problem please call Mrs. Vowels in the school office.
Directions for Parents to Sign up For Conferences
Here are the instructions:
Copy and paste the link onto your browser.
Register (new users)
- Enter your email address and push "Login/Create Account".
- Fill in the required fields and register.
For each child where it asks for Student ID, enter students first and last name as it appears in PowerSchool and birthdate (Unless your school specifies otherwise enter the birthdate in the following format mm/dd/yy).
- Each colored square represents an available meeting time. The legend shows you which teacher corresponds to which color, and the times increase as you go down the page. (Note: you will not see all of the teachers at your school, just the set of teachers that your children have classes with.)
- Click on a square to book that time.
- You will optionally have the choice of setting a time when you would like a reminder email delivered.
- Click "Create Appointment".
Repeat until you have a time with each teacher you'd like to visit with.
- At any time you can click on "printable schedule" and print the resulting web page to get a hard copy of your schedule. You will also have the option to email your schedule to yourself.
- If you want to make changes to your schedule, you can log in at any time with the email address and password you used to create your account.
- Click on “Your Schedule” to display and hide your appointments. There will be links to change the time or cancel the appointment.

Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas Contest
Please see the attachment below if your student is interested in entering this contest. The entry form and information about this poster contest in included. Last year one of our St. Anastasia students, Gina Li, went all the way to the National level! Please consider having you child enter this contest.
Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts
Open House Tuesday November 26th, 2019.
Cub scouts are welcoming boys in Kindergarten to 4th Grade.
Boy Scouts are welcoming boys and girls 5th-12th grades.
ALL volunteers at the school must be registered in Virtus as well as attend the three-hour Virtus class.
To create your account/register for a class go to

A CANTS form (below) and Code of Conduct form (below) must also be on file in the office to volunteer.
You must have completed the Virtus class as well as have these forms on file to volunteer at the school.
On the code of conduct form you only need to fill out the volunteer page.(First page).
(Do not fill out the page for Priests or Diaconate Community)
The CANTS form must be completed EVERY YEAR. If you have not filled out a CANTS form for the 2019-2020 school year please download the attached, fill in and return to Mrs. Garcia in the main office. You are not allowed to volunteer without a new form on file.
** Any organization that wants to submit information for the Thursday email announcements must do so by 3:00pm on Wednesday. All flyers must be emailed to the Principal as a PDF. All information must be approved by the Principal.
